Routine eye exams are important to catch eye conditions such as eye fatigue, dry eye issues, blurry vision, cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. We recommend an eye exam annually to ensure your eyes are healthy, catch any problems early and keep your prescription up to date.
Our office is equipped with technology including high-definition retinal photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging, and computerized visual field testing to help ensure we don’t miss anything.
Annual routine eye exams for seniors at/over age 65 and children under age 19 are covered by Albert Health Care.
We provide emergency eye care to patients of all ages and ensure that we have space in our day to see emergency cases.
*All eye emergencies are covered by Alberta Health Care for all patients regardless of age
For each patient, we ensure that the contact lens options given are most suitable to your lifestyle, hobbies, and profession. We always recommend an annual contact lens exam so that we can make sure you are always in the right pair of contacts.
*A soft contact lens prescription is valid for one year.
As a medical-health centred practice, we offer ocular exams where we focus on diagnosing, treating, and monitoring eye diseases.
